Pimenta Cultural, with the aim of promoting the widest possible reach of its published works, focus intermittently on researching, indexing, and programming metadata for all of its published works. We constantly seek new partners and indexers in order to expand the dissemination of our published books. The central idea is to value the research published here and give it the voice it deserves.

The Brazilian Book Chamber (CBL) is a non-profit association that represents publishers, booksellers, distributors, and other professionals in the industry. For 75 years, it has promoted access to books and the democratization of reading throughout the country, as well as the promotion of Brazilian literature in the international market.

ISBN (International Standard Book Number) is a numerical standard that assigns a unique and non-transferable identification to books. With ISBN, it is possible to register the book in various cataloging platforms and systems. It is a mandatory registration as it is a kind of identification card for the book.

Crossref is an official registration agency for Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) of the International DOI Foundation. It is managed by the Publishers International Linking Association Inc. (PILA), based in New York - USA. The organization was founded in the early 2000s with the aim of creating permanent links for citations of digital works and their respective locations. It is focused on the registration of academic works of various levels.

DOI stands for Digital Object Identifier. It is a standard for identifying documents on digital networks. It is a registration for digital works with the aim of making persistent and permanent records of published texts on the internet. It is not possible to register DOI for printed books, as it is only for registration of digital documents and texts available on the internet.

Qualis Livros is a Brazilian system for evaluating books published by students and teachers of Brazilian graduate programs, maintained by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES). Through CAPES's work, the works and dissemination of intellectual production of "stricto sensu" graduate programs (master's and doctoral) are evaluated. We rigorously follow all CAPES rules so that the works published by Pimenta Cultural reach the highest possible stratum in Qualis Livros. The expected strata for our works are estimated at 88 points, that is, Qualis L1.

It is a service provided by the American company Google that maintains a repository for full-text books. Pimenta Cultural has an approved registration and technical ability to index books so that they score in both their H and i10 indices, as well as in the automatic update of publications of researchers duly registered in Google Scholar. Launched in beta version in 2004, it includes most peer-reviewed online journals and books, conference papers, preprints, theses and dissertations, abstracts, technical reports, and other academic literature, including court opinions and patents. It is of great importance for researchers and teachers to have their profiles registered on this platform so that they can be found by search engines and have their texts automatically indexed.

Academia.edu is a social network focused on the international dissemination of research by teachers and researchers in general. It was launched in September 2008. The platform can be used to share articles, monitor their impact of accesses, as well as to follow research in particular fields of knowledge. Open Library is a digital open and cooperative library created in 2007. Its main focus is on sharing knowledge and promoting access to published works. The repository is open and free, maintained and created by the Internet Archive organization, located in California, United States. It has more than 3 million books registered for free access.

OpenAIRE (Open Access Infrastructure for Research in Europe) is a pan-European research information system for the presentation and linking of research results, which aggregates metadata from repositories, archives, scientific journals, and other infrastructures.

Zenodo is a general-purpose open repository developed under the European OpenAIRE program and operated by CERN. The repository is an open data space in Europe that was launched in 2013. It allows researchers to deposit research papers, data sets, research software, reports, and any other research-related digital artifacts.
